In this question, we will first figure out how many tablets the patient takes per week.

1/2 tablet 3 times weekly = 1 1/2 tabs weekly

Then divide 1.5 into 20 pills to find how many weeks this medication will last the patient.

This medication will last the patient 13 weeks.

20 divided by 1.5 = 13.33

check: 13 X 1.5 = 13 plus 6.5 = 19.5

We always round down, to the nearest unit of measure we are using, whether day, week, month, etc. 20 tablets, given 1/2 tab 3 times weekly, will last a minimum of 13 weeks (91 days).
