Dog Food Alligation? Help Get Blue's Ratio of Kibbles to Bits Right
Asha's dog, Blue, will only eat food that contains 3:1 Kibbles to bits. If the ARF brand contains 2:1 and the RUFF brand contains 4:1, how many grams of each will Asha need to make 900 g of Blue's favorite 3:1 combination? Tip: it is easiest to convert each ratio into a percentage before setting up your alligation grid.
- I have tried this and know how to do alligations very well, but do not come up with the answer in my book... perhaps the book is wrong? but I need to know if i'm doing it correctly before I assume this. Could you please solve this for me? Thank you, Cindy
