simple syrup 40%,

What are you multiplying and dividing and by what number

What are you multiplying and dividing and by what number to get those answers David.I want to learn and I'm curious.I usually go by the proportion technique such as 0.03 x 1000/500.I feel like I'm going about it the wrong way.Are you dividing your answers by the 500?

3% Metronidazole = 4.5 Grams = Nine 500mg Tablets

100% = 150ML
30% suspending agent = 45ML
40% simple syrup = 60ML
3% metronidazole = 4.5GM
(27%) H2O = 40.5ML
