Pediatric Weight-Based Liquid Dosing Question
A drug is ordered for a child. The order says 30mg/kg of drug Z, b.i.d, P.O. for 7 days. The drug you have on hand is mixed 100mg per 5 cc. The mother tells you the child weighs 36 lbs. How many ccs or mls. of drug Z will you dispense?
