Do Some Generics Have Different Side Effects Than Others?

My MD writes my hydrocodone/APAP as Norco. My pharmacy gives me generic hydrocodone/APAP, it seems some generic brands are better than others. Last generic fill, I can't sleep if taken after 7 p.m. They said they don't carry Norco, other than switching pharmacies, how do I get Norco and is it possible that some generics react differently than others?
