You can find out at your pharmacy or by contacting Medicaid by: David
I know of two possible ways to find out the answer to this question.
1.) You can call the pharmacy you use, and tell them you have a prescription for Vyvanse, and ask them the billing requirements that Medicaid has related to the DAW code.
2.) You can contact Louisiana Medicaid directly and ask them what they require. You may be able to find out from their website. Sometimes government websites have a Formulary, which indicates which types of medication are covered (meaning brand or generic prescriptions) and at what rates. If you have a case manager, they may be able to help you as well. They might be a better point of contact than trying to reach Medicaid on the phone.
