Pharmacy Tech CE

I want to keep my PT Tech license current even if I am not working in the field in case I have an opportunity in the future to pursue. I want to know if it is a requirement for me to earn CE credits by attending classes oR seminars to keep my license? Before the expiration period? I renewed my license last year and did not earn credits. The board renewed my license until 2013. I am not board certified. Please advise. Thank you.
