You can take your expired or unwanted prescription medications to the Drug Enforcement Administration's National Take Back Initiative, held at local law enforcement facilities. Call your local police department to find out upcoming dates, times, and locations.

Currently they do not list when the next Take Back event is scheduled for yet, but you can check back regularly at the hyperlink above.
