I have a friend who went through a divorce...his wife is a pharmacist and called another pharmacy and obtained his prescription information. She said it was for tax purposes although they did not file taxes jointly. Also, she stated she did nothing wrong as it was the other pharmacists fault for releasing info...which is true..however being herself a pharm d of 20 years would know the laws..and she wanted this info for possible court proceedings. Isn't this a felony? Also, she "owns" this private pharmacy so a little slap fine won't affect her..how does OCR investigate? I don't want here to cover her tracks...she sod b at fault in my opinion
