Victoza 9ML at 1.8ML per day is a FIVE day supply.

Victoza is used to enhance (make better) a person's level of blood sugar control. This medication is usually used in conjunction with a custom program of diet and exercise.

Victoza comes in a package of 1 injectable pen. This pen has 6mg/ml and the dial on the pen can be set to doses of either 1.8mg, 1.2mg, or 0.6mg.

1.8 units per day is the maintenance dose. It is, also, however, the maximum daily dose that can be prescribed.

The generic name for Victoza is liraglutide.

If 9ml were to be prescribed (according to the Victoza manufacturer website, it comes in a package of 6mg/ml), I would think that 6mg/ml would be dispensed. The general rule when working at the typical retail pharmacy establishment is to dispense the closest package size to what is prescribed; usually, the dispensed amount is less than or equal to the prescribed amount, but generally not more than the prescribed amount.

However, let's say that you could dispense 9ML.

Divide 1.8mg/ml into 9ML and you get a quotient of 5. So, hypothetically speaking, your 9ML of Victoza would last 5 days.
