You can take your expired or unwanted prescription medications to the Drug Enforcement Administration?s National Take Back Initiative, held at local law enforcement facilities. The most recent one was on April 30th, 2011.

Currently they do not list when the next Take Back event is scheduled for yet, but you can check back regularly at the hyperlink above or check with your local police station.
