Volunteer

I'm a pre-pharamcy student. I need volunteer hours in the pharmacuetical field. Where can I find places in my area where I can take the PTCB? Whats the best way to study for that exam?

You'll need to apply for an Authorization to Test (from the PTCB website) before you schedule your exam.

After you have received it, you can go to:
PTCB: Certification Testing. Here you can: locate a testing center, schedule a test, reschedule a test, cancel a test, view available tests and more.

You can schedule your exam by clicking on the "Schedule Online" button or, if you want to schedule by phone, click the "Schedule by Phone" button on that page.

A couple pages on this website outline some study strategies for the exam and some suggested study materials to purchase:

Pharmacy Tech Resources: Pharmacy Technician Certification

Pharmacy Tech Resources: Pharmacy Technician Certification Test Preparation

Pharmacy Tech Resources: Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam

Hope this helps!
