I have a prescription for Norco, the amount of pills is sixty. I take one every six hours as needed. I filled the prescription on 10/9/17. Today is 11/3/17. What is the days supply?

#60, divided by 4 (which is 24 hours in one day, divided by 6 hours, = 4 times daily) = 15 days supply.

This calculation of 15 days supply is the shortest time that it would take for your to use up your tablets if you needed a PRN dose every time you could take one according to the prescription.

Your doctor may have given you different instructions, such as "Take as sparingly as possible" or "This prescription needs to last you for (fill in the blank amount of days)" or even something else.
