375mg is the same as 1.5 teaspoonfuls (7.5ml) of the 250mg/5ml suspension.

BID is the same as twice daily. This medication is given twice daily.

Divide the quantity by the average daily dose to get the days supply.

150ml divided by (2x7.5ml) = 10 days

150ml divided by (15ml) = 10 days

This Amoxil 375mg dosing will last 10 days with this quantity and with these directions.

At least it should last 10 days. We are giving the parent, guardian, or adult caregiver 10 days' worth of medication. Inevitably the medication could spit out, or be thrown up, or otherwise be wasted in various other ways. The responsible party should contact the child or patient's medical provider if this happens to see if they require another prescription to make up for the potentially lost medication. In this scenario, the insurance subscriber can call the insurance company and may request a lost medication override if their insurance company offers one.

Thank you for the question!
