Absolutely NO jewelry at all?

USP797 says that no jewelry can be worn in the clean room. Must all jewelry be removed even if it can be completely covered and doesn’t interfere with gown/glove fit? What about medical IDs (medical ID necklace tags/bracelets/etc)??

Yes, USP797 Means What It Says

The answer to your question is yes. All jewelry must be removed, including Medical ID Necklace tags, bracelets, etc. USP797 is very clear. It is important to maintain sterility in the clean room environment and to reduce the chances of foreign materials being introduced into the sterile environment.
