Prescription for Controlled Substance
Can controlled substance prescriptions for Doctor Office patients be faxed to a pharmacy? It is ok with the DEA for Provider Offices to FAX controlled substance prescriptions to pharmacies, but it is expected that the hard copy will reach the Pharmacy at some point, typically within 7 days.
